FOST was called on by the TotalEnergies EP subsidiary in Gabon for support in the preparation of its LSE (Large-Scale Exercise), in particular to check and prepare equipment and to train personnel in deploying and using said equipment.
In anticipation of this mission, spill response equipment was sent from Vitrolles for the deployment of the offshore boom during this exercise.
An IMO level 1 training course was also run for 12 firefighting and QHSE personnel prior to the exercise.
FOST provided support to the personnel mobilised to deploy the offshore boom during the LSE.
In addition, an equipment procurement planning meeting was held with the subsidiary, during which recommendations were put forward by FOST.
