July 2024: Technical Intervention
After receiving an alert from PKM Logistique, FOST had to urgently travel to Clairoix, in the Oise area, at the end of July for a technical intervention. One of the 218 IBCs belonging to FOST and stored at the PKM warehouse in Clairoix was reported to be leaking from the valve assembly.
On Wednesday 31 July, 2 FOST staff members responded to the incident with the necessary equipment to temporarily transfer the tank’s contents, FINASOL OSR52 dispersant, to another IBC, thereby stopping the leak and limiting product loss.
PKM offers logistics solutions: floor storage, rack storage, co-packing and picking. It also provides haulage and freight forwarding services. Its location in Clairoix, in the Oise area of France, is close to the A1 to Le Havre (maritime shipping) and near to Paris CDG airport (air freight), offering a range of transport possibilities for our IBCs stored there.
