When an entity is preparing a new drilling operation or a large-scale exercise (LSE), it is possible to secure spill response equipment by hiring IBCs of dispersant and drifting buoys provided with the associated detection service.

The equipment available in the stockpile can be used for oil spill response from the shoreline as well as in rivers.
FOST stockpile quantities
FOST has a dispersant stockpile, based in Clairoix (Oise), comprising 228 IBCs of FINASOL OSR52. Its location close to Paris CDG airport means that it can be quickly dispatched in the event of an incident.
