FOST’s equipment stockpile in Vitrolles is divided into three zones.

1. Administration
An administrative area composed of office space and a meeting room (15 people)
2. Warehouse
A warehouse (surface area of 1,800 m2) where all the response equipment is stored
- Booms (various types)
- Skimmers
- Pumps
- Storage tanks
- Workboat with brush skimmer
- Inflatable boat
- Trailers
- Logistical equipment for emergency dispatch of the equipment by truck, boat or plane
3. Showroom
An equipment showroom
The equipment available in the stockpile can be used for oil spill response from the shoreline as well as in rivers. It is also used for training courses and exercises that are organized at regular intervals all year round.
FOST also has a dispersant stockpile, based in Clairoix (Oise), comprising 228 IBCs of FINASOL OSR52. Its location close to Paris CDG airport means that it can be quickly dispatched in the event of a spill.
