DOMINO exercise

A full-scale exercise, dubbed DOMINO, took place in La Mède port and on the Jai beaches near Marseille.

Many participants were involved in this 2-day event which saw a vast deployment of equipment and personnel. FOST was involved in the scenario recreating an oil leak into the Marseille Canal, for which the main response actions consisted in deploying a boom and protecting the banks. The operation was a resounding success both operationally and in terms of media coverage.
