FOST provided technical support to the team at CEDRE for the EVALMAT event held in Saint-Nazaire from 16 to 20 October 2023.
During this event, suppliers put forward new spill response equipment that was deployed on the Loire river in real-life conditions. This year, the X30 skimming system by Elastec was in the spotlight, as was the ScorSweep 30 by New Naval, a Greek supplier which also presented various other spill response solutions (boom, sorbent, small oleophilic skimmer).
Vikoma was also present with their floating storage tank, FROST (Floating Oil Storage Barge).
