The 2024 training program has kicked off in the Republic of the Congo with an IMO level 1 training course in Djéno, from 12 to 16 February 2024.
Following two days of theory training, the 12 participants were able to put into practice the response techniques presented. The course also provided the opportunity to deploy the subsidiary's offshore boom during an exercise on the lagoon. The weather conditions were particularly challenging, but the high temperatures and stifling humidity did not deter our trainees, who scored a 98% success rate in the end-of-course assessment.
The course received positive feedback and participants appreciated the newly designed program.
